Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology, and Innovation, celebrates its 14th edition, solidifying its position as the key event for knowledge transfer in Europe. During this week, the Trade Fair and Congress Center of Málaga brings together over 400 national and international experts to address the European agenda on R&D&I, with a special focus on artificial intelligence and innovation challenges in strategic sectors such as defense and security.
An innovation ecosystem with international reach
Transfiere 2025 reaffirms its role as the leading European forum for knowledge transfer and innovation, bringing together more than 600 companies, organizations, and public administrations from 30 countries. In addition to the participation of the United Kingdom and the Canary Islands, Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna is the invited international university, strengthening the academic dimension of the event.
With more than 80 universities and 100 intermediary innovation organizations participating, the forum continues to promote collaboration between science, business, and administration to transform research into economic and social value.

More than 100 thematic panels and a new patent space
The Transfiere 2025 program includes more than 100 thematic panels across five key areas: Innovation Room, Science Room, Ágora, Research Center, and Andalucía Knowledge. A new addition is the ‘Patent Space,’ designed to enhance the value of intellectual property in the knowledge economy.
This initiative, in collaboration with RedOTC Andalucía and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), aims to connect researchers, startups, and companies with investors and technology agents to foster technology transfer.
CETEM, a leading technology center in Spain, and FEDIT, the Spanish Federation of Technology Centers, partners of the TechGrow project, have continued presenting project results to various R&D organizations, universities, and policymakers.
Through informal meetings and presentations, technology watch has been highlighted as a key driver of innovation in the manufacturing industry, while TechGrow tools are positioned as valuable resources for implementing Technology Watch practices.
