To drive innovation and strengthen strategic decision-making in the habitat industry, CETEM has launched VIC-HAB, a new project focused on Technology Watch and Competitive Intelligence tailored to the specific needs of companies in this dynamic sector.
Running from January 1, 2025, VIC-HAB will systematically monitor the technological and market landscape of the habitat industry in the Region of Murcia. The goal is to identify, filter, and analyse the most relevant information to support companies, particularly in the furniture and wood sectors, with high-value strategic insights. This initiative follows the momentum of CETEM’s previous TechGrow project, which promoted structured competitive intelligence processes in traditional manufacturing sectors.
VIC-HAB goes beyond information gathering. It focuses on delivering actionable insights in accessible formats. CETEM will regularly publish strategic reports, in-depth analyses, and trend updates through its website, specialized newsletters, and social media channels, ensuring that knowledge reaches every company that can benefit from it.
In addition, VIC-HAB will strengthen collaboration between businesses and innovation centers through platforms, fostering technology transfer and new business models that are key to boosting sector competitiveness.
Another pillar of VIC-HAB is improving companies’ access to public procurement opportunities. Through a dedicated Technology Watch Platform, companies will be able to monitor daily tenders and calls, gaining visibility into new market possibilities and enhancing transparency and competitiveness.
With VIC-HAB, CETEM reaffirms its commitment to supporting innovation and growth in the habitat sector, equipping companies with the intelligence tools they need to anticipate change, make informed decisions, and thrive in an increasingly competitive market.
