The TechGrow project’s recent webinar, titled “Technology Watch: Fostering Innovation,” was held on 30 October 2024, attracting a robust audience from across the manufacturing sector. This virtual event was designed to share insights and tools to support the implementation of Technology Watch in traditional industries, particularly furniture, textiles, and footwear.
More than 60 participants, including industry professionals, SMEs, and innovation leaders, joined the session to explore new ways to harness Technology Watch for boosting competitiveness and identifying growth opportunities. This event is part of the TechGrow project’s broader European initiative to make Technology Watch accessible and actionable for companies across the EU.

The session opened with an introduction by Juan Luis González López, Head of R+D+I Public Policies at the Spanish Federation of Technology Centers, who underscored the strategic importance of Technology Watch for industrial innovation. A line-up of expert speakers followed, presenting key topics, such as technology watch benefits, examples and digital tools. Presentations are available:

The event closed by Aureo Díaz-Carrasco, executive director of the Spanish Federation of Technology Centers, that highlights the importance of Technology Watch for the innovation and the work of technology centres to implement it among companies.
